18TH NATIONAL LEVEL JAMBOREE

The ‘National Scout and Guide Jamboree’, a mega event, was organised from January 4 to 10 of 2023 at Rohat ( Jodhpur - Pali route) in Rajasthan’s Pali District. Over 35,000 scouts and guides from all over the country, including 1,500 from various foreign countries, participated in the 18th National Jamboree to be hosted by Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides.The event was inaugurated by the President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu, the Chief Guest was Shri. Kalraj Mishra, Hon’ble Governor, Rajasthan and Presided over by Shri Ashok Gehlo, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

An air show by Surya Kiran team of IAF3, Folk Dance, Band Display, Pageant Show were the highlights on the inaugural day. Rajasthan hosted the mega event after 66 years..

Various competitions like State Gate, Pioneering Project, Adventure Valley, Global Village Development, Integration Games, March Past, Colour Party, Folk Dance, Physical Performance, State Day Exhibition, Band Performance, Rock Climbing, Parasailing and Water Activities were organised during the seven-day event. Seven students from Std XII & IX attended the Jamboree with the Contingent leader Mr Murugesan.In the march past Cluny contingent represented Salem District of Tamil Nadu and the team of 7 girls was headed by Vivillya R of Std XII. The march past by the Tamil Nadu contingent of Cluny Salem, was awarded A grade by Bharat Scouts and Guides.
