DRUG AWARENESS RALLY2026

A Drug Awareness Rally was organized on 30.06.2026 with the objective of creating awareness among the public about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promoting a drug-free society.
The programme was graced by Mr. Prithviraj Chauhan, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Narcotic Intelligence Bureau–CID, Salem, Ms. Ashwini, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Hasthampatty, Mr. Rajasunder Singh, Chairman, Indian Red Cross Society, Salem District and Ms. Latha, Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Salem District. The dignitaries addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of staying away from drugs and working together to build a healthy, responsible and drug-free society.
The school's Principal Rev. Sr. Reena and Correspondent Rev. Sr. Joshma actively participated in the programme. Sr. Joshma ceremonially flagged off the rally. Nearly 500 students enthusiastically took part in the rally, carrying placards and raising anti-drug slogans to spread awareness among the public. The rally proceeded through the area surrounding Ramakrishna Park before returning to the school campus. Twenty teachers accompanied and supervised the students throughout the event. The school band led the procession adding enthusiasm to the rally while a police patrol vehicle escorted the participants and ensured their safety.
The rally successfully conveyed a powerful message on the dangers of drug abuse and inspired the public especially young people to adopt a healthy, disciplined and drug-free lifestyle. The programme served as a meaningful step towards creating greater social awareness and fostering responsible citizenship among students and the community. .
