SESSION FOR TEACHERS AND HOLY EUCHARIST BY MOST REV. DR. ARULSELVAM RAYAPPAN FOR TEACHERS DAY

The Bishop of Salem Diocese Most Rev Dr. Arulselvam Rayappan was invited to celebrate Teachers Day in the campus with the teachers of Cluny on 04.09.2022. They were welcomed at the gate by Sr. Leema Correspondent, Principal Sr. Roselyn and all the teachers. They then proceeded to the auditorium and the programme started with a prayer by Mrs. Poulina and a welcome speech by Mrs J W Hemalatha. This was followed by a very crisp, humorous speech by his Excellency. His Grace as a teacher, a priest and a Bishop put forth all the requirements that make a good teacher. The interaction was very interesting as the talk was filled with anecdotes and experiences of His Excellency’s journey over these years.

At 11.30 a.m everyone gathered for Holy Eucharist celebrated by the Bishop Most Rev. Dr. Arulselvam Rayappan. The Choir sang beautifully as they ushered His Excellency to the altar. His grace addressed the teachers and took them towards the path of Spirituality and Godliness. As offerings were made, blessings flowed from heaven above to all the Sisters and teachers present in the auditorium. A sumptuous lunch with gifts for all the teachers from Sisters brought the event to a very satisfying end to celebrate and rejoice this profession - Teaching.
