NOVENA OF BL. ANNE MARIE 2022 - DAY 3

The celebrations continue with prayers to Bl. Mother Anne Marie Javouhey and Std VII started the day(13.07.2022) with a beautiful prayer service and a prayer song. The salangaai beads on the feet of the graceful bharathanatyam dancers moved in unison and extolled every step that they took in tune with the song steeped in abhinaya . As Saindhavi K S deftly moved her fingers on the veena strings to present Thillana a rhythmic musical piece, Gayathri of Std IX and Madhuridha N M of Std X danced to the soulful music in synchrony keeping pace to the tempo and timing. Truly, a classic piece of jugalbandi!!

A song composed by the teachers on Mother was very soothing to the ears and helped the audience stay afloat in musical delight. A skit titled “Blessed Mother Anne Marie, “The Liberator” brought out the travails of a French lady as she fought to free the lives of slaves in Senegal. Sr Panimery addressed the gathering and motivated the girls to follow three virtues of Mother ‘Compassion’ , ‘Courageous’ and ‘Conviction’ to become successful in life. Wonderful Performance Girls !!
