TAMIL NADU VIZHA

On July 18, 1967, Chief Minister C. N. Annadurai prepared a resolution to change the name of Madras State to Tamil Nadu in English and Tamil languages. To commemorate this historical day, competitions are held across the state as "Tamil Nadu Vizha’’. To celebrate this day, Tamil Valarchi Turai conducted a speech and essay writing competition in Government Girls Higher Sec School, at the District Level on 07.07.2022.
V Megha of Std XII participated in the Speech competition and Thapashvini A of Std XII and Sagana S R of Std XII participated in the essay writing competition.

All the students chose the first topic to speak and write.

Results : First Place : V. Megha of Std XII with a cash award of Rs. 10,000/-
Third Place : Thapashvini A of Std XII with a cash award of Rs. 5000/-
Megha .V moves to the State level competition to be held in Chennai on 13.07.2022.
