ITHU UNGA MEDAI

Vendhar TV organised a debate in Tamil “Ithu Unga Medai’’ at 11.00 a.m. in the school auditorium today(04.07.2022). It was a grand event preparations for which started a week ago. Since 3rd evening the backend preparations swung into action. Monday morning was a sight to see. The stage was decorated, cameras were fixed and the stage was ready by Monday morning.

Ms Shivnandhini was the assistant director of Vendhar TV who coordinated the programme.

Thiru Parthiban, Member of Parliament was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Thiru Naanjil Sampath, a very renowned speaker was the moderator and judge for the debate. Mementoes, ponnadais were draped for many leading personalities. Sr Leema, Corespondent and Sr Roselyn, Principal of Cluny were also honoured by Mrs Thayalnayaki, DSP Salem Rural. Students from Std VIII to XII assembled in the auditorium to witness the debate.

18 speakers spoke on topics that were assigned to them earlier. Our students Megha S of Std XII, Harsha G S of Std V and Mrs Saranya V staff and class teacher of LKG were also one of the speakers. Our teacher and students spoke eloquently and won thunderous applause from the audience.

Megha spoke on why the relationship between a politician and the people is not strong. Harsha and Mrs Saranya spoke on the topic why a relationship between a parent and a child is not strong.

The moderator for the talk show Thiru Naanjil Sampath complimented all the speakers and gave them positive feedback for the future.
