MEET THE CHAMPION

“Meet the Champion” event was conducted in Holy Angel’s Mat School and the Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Mariyappan Thangavelu an Indian Paralympic high jumper. He is India's first Paralympian gold medalist since 2004 and was the Chief Guest of the event.
Mr. Maryappan gave a motivational talk regarding diet, techniques and many other topics of interest for the sportsmen. Around 100 school students along with their P.T teachers were a part of the event. Students clarified some doubts and they were well answered by Mr Maryappan.
Irin Tresa of STD XI, an athlete at the National Level , Angeline Oviya of Std X, a Fencing National medalist represented our school in the event.
Irin Tresa took part in a quiz round a received a T- shirt signed by the sportsman.
