We were honored to receive Mother General Rev. Sr. Clare Stanley from France on an official visit to our school on 07.10.2025. She was warmly accompanied by Rev. Sr. Lourdumary, our Provincial; Rev. Sr. Leema, our Correspondent; and Rev. Sr. Reena, our Principal.
Mother General was ceremoniously escorted in a jeep from the back gate with a band procession. At the main entrance, she was given a traditional welcome with Kumba Arathi, Chandan, and Kumkum.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the kuthuvelakku, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the beginning of auspicious proceedings. Mother General was then honored with a ponnadai and presented with a bouquet as a mark of respect and gratitude.
Mother graciously released the school magazine, following which the students presented a variety of cultural programmes. In her address, Mother General encouraged the students to continue striving for excellence and to uphold the school’s core values in all aspects of their lives.
She also spent quality time interacting with both the teaching and non-teaching staff, appreciating their dedication and service. The visit concluded with a warm vote of thanks delivered by the Principal, Rev. Sr. Reena.
