INSPIRE AWARD - DISTRICT LEVEL

Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) scheme is one of the flagship programmes of Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. The INSPIRE Awards – MANAK (Million Minds Augementing National Aspirations and Knowledge), being executed by DST with National Innovation Foundation- India (NIF), an autonomous body of DST, aims to motivate students in the age group of 10-15 years and studying in classes 6-10.
Five from class 7-10 actively participated in the INSPIRE Awards competition organised by District/State level authorities.
Three students were selected for State level competition.
1. Nethra. S of XD Topic: SOCIAL DISTANCING ALARM
2. Sahana. G of IXD Topic : BURGLAR ALARM IDEAS
(i) Waste Prevention in Dustbin
(ii) Blind Stick
(iii) Drainage Pollution Prevention
3. Haritha. P of VIIE Topic : IMPACT OF INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC ON GROWTH AND MATURATION OF TOMATO PLANTS.
The winners will represent the school again in the Finals at the State Level .( Date to be announced later )
