EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO HYDERABAD – THE CITY OF PEARLS

An educational trip to the pearl city Hyderabad for four days was organized and 150 students along with 10 teachers and the Principal Sr. Roselyn left by train on October 2nd 2022. Students clapped and cheered as they began the journey even as reluctant parents waved out to their daughters and wished them a happy journey. A visit to the Golkonda Fort an architectural and acoustics marvel, was a delight as a clap at the bottom of the fort could be heard right on top. Ancient clocks, swords with diamonds and gold is a royal treat for art collectors and all the students who visited the Salar Jung Museum with its 43,000 art objects and 50,000 priceless books and manuscripts. Teachers and children paused to admire the artefacts, the relics of the past.

A trip to Ramoji Film City was awaited with great excitement for every grass and pillar had been a silent witness to all the blockbuster movies made in India. A cherry on the top was the boat ride in the Hussain Sagar Lake and the trip to the Nehru Zoological Park. Students and teachers clapped and cheered as they saw the wild animals in the pink of health roaming and swimming in the arched bunds. The star attraction was the Ostrich that walked the ramp dressed in its beautiful feathers .The grand finale was the rock and roll at the Snow World. All barriers were put to rest as the group enjoyed the artificial set up with many games and play areas. The tour ended on the 6th of October and we are thankful to God that we returned safely to our families. Students thanked Sr. Roselyn and the teachers for the delightful trip..
