62ND ANNUAL SPORTS MEET

62nd Annual Sports Meet on 30.07.2022 was held with great excitement and happiness in the school ground. The Chief Guest Mrs. S P Lavanya, DCP South, Salem City, Guests of Honour Thiru. M A Uthayakumar, DEO Salem, Mr. Baskar, HOD Basketball Academy, SAI, NSSC, Bangalore were welcomed by the Correspondent, Sr. Leema and Principal, Sr. Roselyn and other well-wishers. The school band welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries.
Mrs. S P Lavanya took the salute and inspected the march past files of the four houses Ruby, Emerald, Topaz and Sapphire. The band display was an euphoric moment for everyone present there. Sr. Techla, Vice Provincial, Cluny Congregation, Rev. Fr. Dr. Joseph Lazar, Parish priest of Infant Jesus Cathedral, Rev. Fr. Jerome, CRI President, Mrs. Nirmala Devi, DIPE Salem, Principals of various schools and enthusiastic parents were present on this grand occasion.
The drill displays by the students focused on the 75th Independence year and women in the war front. Colourful displays, athletic events and brave acrobatic display created a sense of empowerment, achievement and bravery in the minds of the students.
The much awaited awards were distributed to various students for their achievements in the field of sports and games. Ruby house was declared the winner with the highest score.
