To celebrate the 44th FIDE Chess Olympiad 2022, Salem District Chess Association organized AICF Salem District School selection tournament for girls with the support of Government of Tamil Nadu. The tournament was held at Notre Dam of Holy Cross, Salem on 25.06.2022. Two students represented the school in the U15 category and won prizes.
Roshini S V of Std VII /b> represented our school at the tournament. At the end of nine rounds, she secured 7.5 points and secured the second place out of 84 participants. Sharika P of Std V secured the 13th place by scoring 6 points. Rev. Sr. Roselyn gave away the prizes amidst thunderous applause from the audience.
